Would he replace one of our "great" offensive lineman or just one of our good ones?

I've been critical of Newhouse since the beginning, the man has an open-door policy straight to Rodgers most of the time.

The odds of the Packers making a mid season move to bring in a lineman and have him learn the complex scheme and play well are about the same as me suiting up for the Packers on any given Sunday.

I'd like to be the 1st to congratulate Carl as the Packer's new place kicker. Job well done.

Fuck the complex scheme. Haven't you learn yet what kind of guy TT is? If one of our linemen sucks and TT thinks another guy is better and if this guy is available for a reasonable price then HE WILL BRING HIM IN. The reason why he doesn't so often is the same why you don't see trades for Brees or Manning midseason: only insane or desperate GM's would give away cornerstone players or trade for players they can't afford to let their franchise players leave eventually because of cap problems.

But why would TT be in need to get new OLiner? We are 7-1, erasing the anomalies of Seattle and Indy. No one there really sucks like Barbre did some years ago. Would u really go for a new guy here or trust in their learning curve?

Cant be any worse than Newhouse learning the so called "complex" scheme and play well, he only has a couple years to learn

He does make a good point, though. Didn't TT give up a 6th round pick mid season for an obscure RB named Ryan Grant? TT will make a mid season move if he sees the opportunity and thinks that player will make a difference. Not sure he would do this with a lineman, though as learning any scheme would take a lot more time than a position like RB or WR.

I thought Ted signed Grant the 1st or 2nd week, but they didn't play him till the 6th or 7th week, not sure though.
