Been years since I made one of these, so in attempt to get us out of this shitty slump let's change it up a little.

Prediction:
Packers- 31
Houston- 23

Have the tables have finally turned in our favor? Last time I checked no one on the Texans coaching staff died, came down with a serious illness, got fired, etc. In fact, they lost one of their best defenders and emotional leaders in Brian Cushing. We should know better than most that losing an emotional leader can impact a defense (Miss you Des).

Hopefully the loss of Benson makes MM more creative with Randall Cobb, and i'm hoping Sunday night is his coming out party. Our offense is more explosive and unpredictable when Cobb is in the backfield constantly being covered by a LB. Utilize it.

The Texans offense doesn't scare me as much as it should. Arian Foster is a freak and there isn't a better RB in the game right now. Yes, the Texans are 5-0, but who have they really played? Miami, Jacksonville, NYJ, Denver, Tennessee. Those are hardly impressive offenses/teams in general.

I look for the Packers to pick their shit up and set the tone for the rest of the season.

Player of the Game: Aaron Rodgers 350yds 3TDs / 1 rushing TD / NO INTs
Breakout Player: Randall Cobb
Surprise Player: Jerel Worthy

Speaking of Worthy, stop fucking jumping offsides.

Go Pack Go

GB 38
Texans 15

Packers D allows the Texans to move in between the 20's but that's about it. 5 FGs for the Texans.

GB scores on it's 1st drive with 5 plays. All passes. After that Green/Starks combine for 22 carries for 78 yards.

Suddenly Tom Crabtree is a pass catching TE

Game ball - James Starks because he will be catching passes out of the back field all day for over 100 receiving yards

Defensive player MVP - Walden. Dude has looked pretty damn good so far and this will be a career game for him

John Kuhn scores a TD in Benson's absense, taking the role of banger/goal line back. The WRs get their shit together and don't drop any balls for the first time this year. Rodgers looks sharp, the offense gets some momentum and the Packers finally hit their average point total from last year.

On defense, we get two INTs because the Packers get out to a lead and force the Texans to pass more than they would like.

Cobb scores on a punt return.

I will be watching this game as a retired coach, my last game is at noon today. As reflective and relieved as I will be (intoxicated as well) I don't think this will be an easy game to watch.

Texans 35
Packers 21

Well you've already shorted the Packers 15 Points and it's only halfway through the 3rd quarter.

Not my worst prediction. Neutral

This is why we win when we win.

We're a team built to be leading. It's also what the undefeated Pats did- jump out to early leads.

The guys seemed more intense today than usual. I'm calling BS on A-Rod's notion that everything is normal inside the locker room.

Other than a few first half dropped passes, this was a total victory, in all aspects of the game.

Well, were you victorious in your swan song? Did they hoist you in your wheelchair up in the air and carry you off the field?
