I have a few friends with Deer farms and they raise some nice whitetail, in many area's here where we had nice herds just 10 years ago, have now been cut in half, the game management in the UP is responsible for much of the problem, it started with poor game management 20+ years ago, when you kill every spike and forkhorn, you eventually have no breed bucks, , we've been trying to build back up the the Gene, only to have Wolfs and Harsh winters hamper the efforts.

Thanks for your approval Fan, you fuck  As a DNR employee it's always nice to hear the misinformed dipshit publics opinions on game management. . I did what any conservative self reliant person would do, I purchased land and have managed a herd with out any government assisstance, the best part of the deal is that I don't have to share with anyone. See for every gov program that is set up to "help" us it costs freedoms some were along the line.  So if I put a cute little face after being an asshole it's funny rather than offensive? |

Carl, do you have what is considered a deer farm? fenced in? I have a buddy about 20 miles from here that has that, the only thing Michigan requires of him is periodic inspection of the herd, which I have heard is by annual, about 3 years ago he bought a top blood line buck, paid quite a bit for it too, he already has some great typical bucks, however this bloodline is non typical, he is hoping to produce some cactus quality 20 pointers  |

| No high fence here they come and go as they please, they just prefer to stay because of the food. Damn horses got into one of the food plots this morning, ate like crazy. I should put an arrow in one of those hay burners. |
