49ers ran the ball once in the 2nd half. GB just couldn't seem to stop the pass all of a sudden. With the time of possession heavily in favor of GB, the 49ers were desperate for points and had to air it out. Once Harris got hurt they scored 2 more TDs to bring the score to 30 - 24. Packers got the ball back with 5:56 and held the ball until the end. That was good to see. These last 2 years have been filled with way to many 4th quarter melt downs.

At this point we can only hope Williams can take over for Harris. We're definitely going to be seeing a lot more of Underwood and Bush.

This is a video of all the defensive plays after Harris got hurt in the 4th quarter

Link

(1) 1-10-GB 24 (10:52) (Shotgun) 11-A.Smith pass incomplete short left to 21-F.Gore (36-N.Collins). GB-31-A.Harris was injured during the play.

(2) 2-10-GB 24 (10:49) (Shotgun) 11-A.Smith pass incomplete short right. ---- Pressure by Poppinga. No WRs were open

(3) 3-10-GB 24 (10:42) (Shotgun) 11-A.Smith pass deep middle to 85-V.Davis for 24 yards, TOUCHDOWN. ---- Harris would not have been able to help this. Bush was covering the top of the receivers and there were 3 coming. Matthews let his guy get in front of him and it was over. Bad defensive call or perfect offensive call.

(4) 1-10-SF 17 (8:26) (Shotgun) 11-A.Smith pass short left to 15-M.Crabtree to SF 15 for -2 yards (33-B.Underwood). PENALTY on GB-33-B.Underwood, Face Mask (15 Yards), 15 yards, enforced at SF 15. ---- Nice aggressive play by Underwood but you’re not supposed to tackle by the face mask

(5) 1-10-SF 30 (8:02) (Shotgun) 11-A.Smith pass deep middle to 88-I.Bruce to 50 for 20 yards (38-T.Williams). ---- The QB had a nice pocket to throw in and Bruce gets open with Williams trailing behind him. Bush positions himself his normal 5 – 10 yards from the play

(6) 1-10- (7:20) (Shotgun) 11-A.Smith pass deep right to 15-M.Crabtree to GB 15 for 35 yards (38-T.Williams). Green Bay challenged the pass completion ruling, and the play was Upheld. (Timeout #2.) ---- Great run and catch here. Crabtree gets by Williams and Collins doesn’t get over to help quick enough

(7) 1-10-GB 15 (6:51) (Shotgun) 11-A.Smith pass incomplete short right to 85-V.Davis.

(8 ) 2-10-GB 15 (6:48 ) (Shotgun) 11-A.Smith pass short left to 84-J.Morgan to GB 10 for 5 yards (24-J.Bush). ---- GB is just getting taken advantage of at this point

(9) 3-5-GB 10 (6:06) (Shotgun) 11-A.Smith pass incomplete short right to 88-I.Bruce (97-J.Jolly).---- Hell Yeah! Johnny Jolly!!

(10) 4-5-GB 10 (6:02) (Shotgun) 11-A.Smith pass short right to 21-F.Gore for 10 yards, TOUCHDOWN. ---- Apparently GBs 4 DBs were going to cover 2 WRs so Gore could have an easy TD. Clay Matthews blitzed and normally he would cover the RB so there must have been a communication break down some where

An over rated harris is ten times better than bush and underwood combined.

We're not fucked. Tramon Williams has been getting almost as many reps as anyone else on defense. Bush has been getting a lot more playing time lately so the coaching staff must be getting more comfortable with him. We'll just have to wait and see how Underwood performs. Should be interesting to see if GB keeps up with as much blitzing now.

There's a good chance that we're at least a little fucked. Tramon is a big step down from Al, IMO, and Bush will see the field more. Woodson won't be as free to wreak havoc, and between losing Al and Kampy, we lost a lot of experience and leadership on D.

Here's a serious question. Harris gets hit, suddenly Alex Smith looks like Joe Montana. The 49ers all of a sudden seem able to throw on us. If Harris is healthy, do we lose to Pitt and Arz?

No. Harris shuts his side down, with the exception of one or two completions, and they have to throw at Woodson, Tramon, and Collins more. One of them is bound to get a pick.

you know what pissed me off about that 49er game? I was there ,and there were fucking Packer fans leaving the game with like 5 minutes to go when the 9ers had the ball and in position to take the lead if they could score a touchdown. They were leaving when there was still a chance we'd lose. Fuck those guys, I sayed till the very end.

Packer fans at Lambeau are not anywhere near as great of fans as they are said to be. A lot of whiners are mixed in with the good ones. It's time to get some of those lifetime season tickets to turn over to the next in line.

No kidding, I'd represent that 150% if I had the chance to get tickets.
