Shit. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/s.....eks-102212

On the other hand, the young DBs are looking really good. Last time we had this many injuries, we won the super bowl.

Perry
Raji
Neal
Bishop
Smith
Woodson

That's half our defense.

On the other hand, half of our defense isn't that much to lose. But clearly this sux.

This should make Louder happy---fewer missed tackles and fall-downs on D. Laughing

It sucks for sure, but where has Woodson been all season?

I feel confident with Tramon, House, Hayward, Shields

Speaking of House, he's looked good every time he's stepped on the field. Yesterday and all pre-season/training camp.

Hayward looks special. The loss of Woodson definitely sucks because we don't really have anyone with his kindof blitzing ability, but I'm excited to see how our 3 young CBs step up.

We can't catch a break though.

Thank TT, Hawk is having a probowl year. Imagine how devastating these injuries would be without our inside anchor. Laughing Laughing

That's one thing you can say about Hawk though, he rarely misses a game.

...I don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing though. I must admit though he's probably been our best inside linebacker so far Rolling eyes

The thing is: You can have the best player ever on your team, if he doesn't get on the field regularly he's not gonna produce and he will be outproduced by even an under-average player that plays regularly. Hawk has the body of an ironman, he doesn't make those "oh my gosh"-mistakes like Jolly or Bush did/do once in a while, he plays solid overall, he's an average LB. All that COMBINED makes him an above average NFL LB and therefore TT is hanging on him. Case closed for me.

Unfortunately, this loss of our Def Captain, Woodson, falls directly to MM's coaching or thinking. I said to my wife the last time the Rams had the ball,"what are Woodson, C. Matthews, and Hawk doing in the game when it is basically over", even if they score again, GB can't afford to lose any of them now. Well, it happened with 3 mins to go on a meaningless play. MM just hates to let any newbies get in the game no matter what the score. It happened alot last season when GB had big leads.

Last year was a different story. we had the worst defense in the league and a 20 point lead in the final minutes of the 4th quarter wasn't safe. But this year, no reason to. Our defense is much improved and has shown it won't implode in the final quarter as long as the offense is moving the ball and gives them a rest.

Oh. And GO GIANTS!!! (San Francisco Giants)
