Woo last week felt good. Finally all 3 phases worked well and we dominated a previously 5-0 team in their own house without 2 of our star players. Enter the Saint Louis Rams. Let me disregard the fact that I should be at that game (my friend is a douchebag and "quit" ((got fired)) before I made the trip) however, this would be the third consecutive road game for the Packers, a rarity if you may.

The Rams are no pushover. Jeff Fischer has his young and inexperienced squad playing well and they have as good of a defensive line you can ask for. Chris Long is the Defensive End version of Clay Matthews, with the bloodline and high motor that strikes fear in offensive lineman. He's a threat along with 6th overall pick Michael Brockers along with others. James Laurenitis's dad was in the WWF, so you know he's sick. Cortland Finnegan is a physical veteran CB and Janoris Jenkins will be a star sooner than later if he can keep his head on straight.

Unfortunately the Rams offense is a joke. Steven Jackson is washed up and they have no threat at WR or TE. Bradford is under constant pressure with his O-line.

We went 15-1 last year for a reason. Our offense always struck first and would build on that, making teams constantly play from behind and pass more often than run. Our defense fed on a predictable offense and turnovers were bountiful. I look for more of a 2011 feel from this game, ending our brutal road trip on a high note.

Packers: 34
Rams: 16

Player of the Game- Aaron Rodgers: 300+ yds 4TDs 1int
Breakout player- Casey Hayward- 1 int, 1 Defensive TD
Surprise player- Alex Green 100+ total yards

Erik Walden - 9 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 forced fumble. Defensive player of the game

Tim Masthay - Just a reminder, we have the best punter in the NFL

James Jones - 2 TDS, breaks Don Hutson's record

Alex Green - breaks 100 yards and continues to look good

GB - 38
Rams - 17

I am just going listen to the game and enjoy it. No speculation about what I think is going to happen. The Packers are 6 and 0 when I listen to the Packers while splitting wood.

My prediction-

The Packers put on a show with their second dominant road win in a row. AJ Hawk contines to prove Bus and Brady wrong. James Starks gets reintroduced to the offense, giving the Packers a two-headed rushing attack.

Player of the game on D - Tramon Williams
Player of the game on O - James Jones

Packers 35
Rams 16

Great job on the drunk post. When I drunk post I write about how Jones is an obvious upgrade over Smith with absolutely no reasoning or proof

Walden's
the LB'er proving everybody wrong. And, Mathews is better than ever. Hawk is who we thought he was in 2010---not bad. Makes you wonder where he was in 2011. He is playing with a little more enthusiasm in 2012, hitting for a change, and he's on a pace for 2.5 sacks! Capers will have to work around the injuries and limitations at ILB.

I wasn't going to drink today, but since everyone on chat was drinking, I had to.
