Wow, talk about being in the same boat with an all time NFL great. Congrats!

Quote:
Jones has now caught two touchdown passes in three consecutive games. He joins elite company in Packers history: Jones and Don Hutson are the only two players with that distinction.

"If I get records down the road, that's good. But it's about winning. We've got a bigger goal, that we're here to win a Super Bowl," said Jones.

With his two touchdown catches on Sunday against the Texans, Jones now has seven this season which ties his career high. And he's making some amazing one-handed grabs this season.

"Wish I could use two hands a little more. As long as we're catching the balls, that's all that matters."

Jones could have left in free agency after the 2010 season, at the time Aaron Rodgers lobbied for the Packers to re-sign Jones.

"Hopefully we can hold onto him for a while here," Rodgers said. "I've said that in the past, we're fortunate for that to have a lot of guys playing well in that position group. He's making the most of his opportunities and making me look good."

Anyone still think we should have traded Jones?

I was at football camp his rookie year in July he was not signed yet, he came back to the dorms to sign for the kids. I told Jr to not bother going up the 6 flights of stairs to get the football for him to sign because he was not going to be a big deal ever. He did seem like a nice guy happy to get his chance to be a Packer.

When James Jones has his name in print, in the same time zone as Don Hutson, it really shows you how much the game has changed and how the NFL has bastardised statistics by changing the game as much as they have.

thats just makes little sense Bus, did ya see those catches the other day? find me better ones by Hutson.
Jones runs some of the best routes your gonna see, his double rivals any receiver playing, while Hutson is the measuring stick all are judged by, and Jones is not his equal, he is playing some great ball though, and sure was a heck of a signing by Ted.

Didn't Rodgers just tie a record too, most TD passes in a game?
